The Raider's Religions
The old Norse religion is the most common name for a branch of Germanic religion, when the north Germanic people separated into a distanced branch of Christianity during the Christianisation of Scandinavia.

It is true that almost the entire population of Scandinavia was pagan at the beginning of the Viking age, but the Vikings held many gods and it was no problem for them to accept the Christian god along side their own.
