Did you know the Vikings invaded eight countries – Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Faroes , Scandy and Britain. Britain was the country the Vikings liked the most.
The first Viking raid

The first Viking raid was in AD 793 they wanted to grow crops and farm. Not all Vikings were nice some of them wanted to raid and destroy our country.

The Vikings wore metal for their helmets and chained clothing around their body. They also wore metal amour covering them from head to toe. They also had wooden shields for fighting.
