Falling
You would have be thrown off a cliff [hopefully you would have survived].
Crushed by an elephant
They were strapped to the floor and an elephant would crush them.
Boiling
You would have be boiled alive in steaming hot water.
Guilty or innocent
They would make you eat a big slice of cake if you choked you were guilty if didn’t choke you were innocent.[save me a slice, but not a big slice!]
The other way was water they would put you in water and if you floated you were guilty if you drowned you were innocent.
